Théodule Armand Ribot received his education from Ecole Normale Superieure in France. In 1885, Ribot lectured on a series of courses relating to Experimental Psychology at Sorbonne University in Paris, France. This led Ribot to become a professor of the subject in 1888 at the College of France (Theodule Armand Ribot, n.d.). Ribot became known as the founder of scientific psychology in France. His greatest claim to fame is Ribot’s Law (explained in the video below).
